Mallanna starring Vikram is loaded with tons of action. The same is evident from the stills, trailers and posters released by the movie makers. Mallana is no less than a typical Hollywood movie. The amount spent of the movie supports the view. With the budget of the movie accounting to about 70 crores, the movie is rated as one of the highest budget movies in South Indian Cinema. Shriya Saran, who is playing the female lead role in the movie is said to have danced with jewelry worth 6 crores in the movie.

Mallanna learns that the huge gap between the rich and the poor is the main cause for many problems faced by the nation. He resolved to bridge the gap. How does Mallana accomplish this task? All the adventures he goes through on his mission is what makes the film fascinating.

A few words on Mallana’s jumbo budget! The crew shot the film for a month in Mexico, spending 8 crores and canned a few song and dance sequences in Italy spending 2 crores. An added 3 crores was spent on the extra CG effects for the action adventure. So now, along with its trail of exclusivities, Mallana also bags the privilege of being a super production made with a jumbo budget of nearly 30 crores.

Meanwhile, the audio release of Mallana will be held on May 19. It is confirmed that the audio of its Tamil version will hit the stands on May 17. Post-production work is going on at breakneck speed. Mallana is expected to grace the theatres on June 12.
